The use of plant oils, including essential oils, for psychological & physical well-being. Plant Oils contain a variety of healing & soothing properties & are chosen to suite the individual needs of clients.
Collagen is the most important building block in the animal world; it is the tie that binds the animal kingdom together. Life is a string of complex molecules: polymers. Nature's most abundant protein polymer is collagen, making up over 33% our body's protein & 75% of our skin.
Collagen acts as a scaffolding for our bodies. It controls cell shape & differentiation. It helps broken bones regenerate & wounds heal & promotes healthy blood vessels to feed areas that are in need of healing. It is the fibrous protein constituent of skin, cartilage, bone, & other connective tissue.
Essential oils are valuable substances extracted from plants through distillation. They enhance life by bringing the physical, emotional, & spiritual aspects of your being into balance. Applied through various methods, they help restore health & well-being.
Dirt, pollution, make-up, & dead skin cells can make your skin dry &/or oily. Pores become clogged & can result in premature ageing. Regular, gentle exfoliation removes build-up. Exfoliation coaxes the skin to rejuvenate itself as nature intended.
The key to effective exfoliation (& to your skin's long-term health & beauty) is to preserve the natural, protective oils of the top layer while keeping intact the critical lower layers, where 70 percent of the sustaining collagen fibers reside.
A natural clay that has cleansing & drawing qualities.
Before fat can be burned it must be broken down to free fatty acids & glycerol. This process is called lipolysis.
The lymphatic system has a vital role in our bodies. It clears out toxins, regulates & strengthens the immune system to protect the body from infection. It reduces swelling, promotes younger appearance & a general healthy well-being. It transports nutrients to cells & eliminates metabolic waste, toxins & excess fluid from the body.
It encourages stimulation of the lymphatic system. It is a very specific technique used in manual body massage therapy.
Lymphatic drainage is a very effective way of detoxing the body plus stimulating vital immune defences.

Shea butter"s high content of vitamins A, E & F will provide your skin with the essential elements it needs for good skin balance

The healing properties of sea water & the marine l&scape have, for centuries, been well known. Thalassotherapy is a recognised technique that utilises healing properties & qualities found in the sea water & plant life.
At the start of the Twentieth century Rene' Quinton studied & compared the elements which are in the sea & in blood plasma.
These studies exposed an important characteristic of the human skin which, especially at a certain temperature & humidity, becomes a very good vehicle for the exchange between sea water & blood.
Sea water is rich in potassium, magnesium, iodine & other substances which pass through the skin, via osmosis, reaching the blood cells. This stimulates & regenerates numerous functions.
It can help prevent & treat allergies, bone diseases, circulatory problems & ease breathing difficulties.
